It is no surprise seniors are the fastest growing segment of the population. However, it might be surprising to learn they are fastest growing user segment on Facebook and are quickly embracing interactive technology in new ways. In this case, thanks to a teens training seniors program.

Time Travelling in 2012

Some projects are coming to an end - and others are just beginning. New staff are coming on board, and others are moving on to new ventures and adventures. It is this ebb and flow that gives us the opportunity to redesign our project management approach. We are flexible, looking to the future, and finding the best system to serve existing and future clients. It is a very challenging, but exciting time.

The Community Learning Network, in partnership with eCampus Alberta, is hosting the Forever Learning Luncheon 2012 on March 28 to celebrate International Adult Learners' Week.

Literacy, learning, government and community leaders and learners will be attending the luncheon, which starts at 11 am at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald, in Edmonton.

Literacy and Learning Symposium 2012

The Literacy and Learning Symposium 2012 theme is Sharing Stories, Changing Lives. This year's event is October 17 - 19 in Edmonton, at the Radisson Hotel Edmonton South. 

For the first time the Symposium will be organized jointly by Literacy Alberta, The Centre for Family Literacy and the Community Learning Network. It promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
