E-conferencing
SHARE is Literacy Alberta’s electronic conferencing system. SHARE helps members such as literacy coordinators, tutors, volunteers and learners keep on top of the latest literacy developments, both provincially and nationally.
With SHARE, you can:
- access information on assessment, adult, health, aboriginal, ESL, family, workplace, learning disabilities, math, marketing, tutor, technology, training, library, French, and other literacy subjects.
- take online courses or training.
- join a discussion group.
- share information, expertise, and knowledge.
- receive conference, training and special event updates.
- ask questions and receive effective answers from experienced literacy workers.
- create private forums, projects or work areas.
- learn to use technology. Share's Helpline provides training, support and information for computer users of all skill levels.
- create distance education with tutor-student work areas that help students in rural and remote areas, or to assist shift workers.
SHARE is available to all Literacy Alberta members. For more information about Share, to become a member or for assistance using it, please contact our office at 403-410-6990, or email your questions to office@literacyalberta.ca.
