Literacy and Learning Symposium 2012

The Literacy and Learning Symposium 2012 theme is Sharing Stories, Changing Lives. This year's event is October 17 - 19 in Edmonton, at the Radisson Hotel Edmonton South. 

For the first time the Symposium will be organized jointly by Literacy Alberta, The Centre for Family Literacy and the Community Learning Network. It promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

"This event is a perfect opportunity to tell stories about how literacy, life-long learning and essential skills change people's lives."

Call for Presenters Deadline was April 5. The committee is sifting through the nearly 60 proposals and drawing up the program. Details will be out in May.
