Literacy Alberta aims to provide people working directly with learners with the skills and resources they need to do their job. We provide programs and workshops for literacy practitioners, coordinators.
Our flagship service is the New Coordinator Training Program. Each year we bring together literacy program and community coordinators to share ideas, gain skills, gather resources and network. Follow-up training will take place from November 4th to 7th, and NCT from November 18th to 22nd. Find out more in Training.
Professional development courses and ideas can also be found on SHARE, Literacy Alberta’s electronic conferencing system. It helps literacy coordinators, tutors, volunteers and learners keep on top of the latest literacy developments, both provincially and nationally.
Share is available to all Literacy Alberta members. If you are a member and a Share user, log in to Share here.
